Bezos buys self-driving startup, Musk calls him ‘copy cat’

A day after tech giant Amazon.com announced that it is buying self-driving startup Zoox Inc, Elon Musk, Chief Executive Officer of Tesla, US’s leading electric vehicle manufacturer, dubbed Amazon boss Jeff Bezos as ‘a copy cat’ on Twitter.

However, this isn’t the first time Musk has taken a dig at Bezos for indulging in similar business deals. He had previously called Bezos ‘a copy cat’ when the latter’s rocket-launch startup Blue Origin was making plans for a satellite-based internet service giving competition to Musk’s firm in April 2019. A few weeks ago, he had also tweeted that it was ‘time to break up with Amazon’.
