Schaeffler technologies finalist for safety

Schaeffler Australia is a finalist in the safety category for the national 2019 Bulk Handling Awards for a number of its split technologies, including bearings, housings and seals.

The split technologies – split bearing, labyrinth seal and plummer block – can be used individually or in combination with each other, and have been recognised for their downtime saving and safety benefits.

Schaeffler's latest SNS Split Plummer Block Housings are engineered to increase the service life of fitted spherical roller bearings by up to 50 per cent, compared to conventional plummer block housings.

The 2019 Bulk Handling Awards will be held in Melbourne on 22 August.
